Others are Jeses Skida, Algeria, Primero De Agosta, Angola, Etiole, Congo, Niger United of Nigeria and Flowers of Benin Republic.

 

In the female category are Petro Athletico of Angola, CARA, Congo, Grasshoppers of Nigeria, Petro Sport, Ghana, Premerio De Agosto, Angola, Rombo of Cote d' Ivoire, TKC, Cameroon, Owena, Nigeria, FAD, Cameroon , HC Heritage, Congo Democratic and Africa Sports Cote d'Ivoire.

In an interview with our correspondent, the President of Nigeria Handball Federation, Alhaji Yusuf Dauda noted that all the teams have been divided into three groups even as he explained that the championship will be played on a league format.

 

According to him, all logistics has been put on ground by the Kaduna State Government to ensure that the tournament which is the biggest clubs championship in the continent is hitch free.

 

"I want to assure Nigerians and all lovers of basketball in the country that Handball Federation in conjunction with the Kaduna State Government has put adequate logistics on ground to ensure a successful hosting of the championship.

The Handball boss while promising Nigerians that the country will use the opportunity offered by the hosting of the championship to regain its leadership position of the game in the continent.
