Kiluanji Kia Henda (1978). Lives and works in Luanda. Part of a young generation of Angolan artists with an international career. Luanda Trienal 2007, Guangzhou Trienal 2008, Bordeaux 2009, a number of art residencies in South Africa, Italia, USA, Germany, Brazil. In photography, his experimental or even distorted style represents his hometown of Luanda and ironically portrays conflicts like the Cold War in Angola, and nowadays problems through a complex multitude of perspectives.
