Naomi Campbell better watch out because the recently crowned Miss Flavour 2011 winner Amy Anselle will one day take her supermodel crown.

Every year the Miss Flavour competition is held to select a talented young versatile model to grace the cover of the magazine and offer invaluable services to the inspire and encourage the talent and skills inherent in the youths in the United Kingdom. This year stunning 23-year-old Amy Anselle (aka Amy Amy) was crowned Miss Flavour 2011 on Wednesday 9th November 2011 at Café de Paris.


Amy is already an established French model, booking shows at the London Fashion Week, shooting with high profile photographers, appearing on countless magazines spreads and flaunting online campaigns for retail stores. She is a driven, dedicated and a hard worker. She says of her win: “I was so excited to win. All the other 13 contestants were amazing and it was great to get to know them. I want to thank Annika Allen and Leonard Foster for welcoming me in the Flavour team for the year ahead. I can’t wait to work with you and I am really proud to be an ambassador for Favour Magazine, a multicultural and inspiring magazine for new talent from all walks of life.

The annual Miss Flavour contest at Café De Paris also celebrated Flavour's 5th birthday and was hosted by BBC Radio 1Xtra's Charlie Sloth and Sarah-Jane Crawford.

Celebrity judges on the night were actors Adam Deacon (Anuvahood) and Arnold Oceng, model Anthony BB Kaye (E4's Dirty Sexy Things) and SBTV's CEO Jamal Edwards. 

The Miss Flavour contest saw performances by Neetu Sahota winner of Miss Flavour 2010, female fire breathing sensations The Fuel Girls, reggae-indie singer Sam Garrett who sang a cover of Bob Marley's, One Love and received a much-appreciated applause from the crowd and was headlined by Chipmunk. 

The night saw the likes of Sway, Lethal B, Flawless, Princess Nyah, Tim Westwood, Shystie, Egypt, Meleka, The Catwalk Professor, comedians Kojo and Slim and many more celebs in attendance. The night was nothing but sheer entertainment.
