Kuito — The government of central Bie province announced Thursday, in the city of Kuito, that it will sponsor the release of three CDs by musicians still to selected, ANGOP learnt on Friday.

The acting provincial governor of Bie, Carlos da Silva Ulombe, made the announcement to the press after the music festival dubbed "Variante 2011", on Thursday, in Kuito city, which was won by the singer Bernard Sindako with the music track "Otchissola Tcha may."

 

Carlos da Silva Ulombe did not reveal the names of the musicians that will be contemplated, but assured that their debut albums will on stands soon.

 

The minister assured that in addition to this sponsorship, the provincial government has supported several programmes linked to the development of culture in order to occupy youths' leisure time, through the programme of cultural associativism.
